Our operations began in 1996, in 2003 the business was renamed CanTour Global Inc. Over the years thousands of people from all over the world have joined us on a wide variety of educational sightseeing tours.  Tours have changed over time to meet an ever-changing demand and have included hiking, biking, canoeing, photography, dogsledding, snow shoeing and ice fishing and motor coach sightseeing tours of southern Georgian Bay, Toronto & Niagara Falls.  At times we have offered tours in four different languages.  Our tours have been enjoyed by travelers visiting from around the globe. We have also delivered ground-based tours for cruise ship operators such as Hapag-lloyd and Golden Bear Travel from California when Collingwood was a port of call for large cruise ships sailing the Great Lakes on fall colour tours. We have also supplied educational sightseeing tours to many people on corporate retreats.

Over the past two decades changes in the global economy, changes in international exchange rates along with SARS & COVID 19 have created many sudden and profound changes to international tourism. We are expecting a new normal once the Ontario economy opens from the restrictions of Covid 19.

Guided snow shoeing & ice fishing tours are now available in accordance with Ontario’s reopening plan. We have other tours being developed which will also be subject to Government of Ontario regulations and will be offered in accordance the Ontario’s re-opening plan.
